EXCALIBÜR

I’m working on a new album.
This album is being written in NES format (2A03, VRC7) and it will be a concept piece about The Once and Future King: King Arthur and the legend of The Sword in The Stone. I plan on releasing in a variety of formats, including source files, .nsf and ROM files. As of this writing that is all the information I am at liberty to divulge.
For those of you who haven’t been seeing any updates from me recently, it’s because I haven’t been posting anything recently. Modern society and information technology dictates that we, as musicians in a neverending struggle to maintain a presence in the public eye, must constantly bombard our fans with updates, pictures, videos, pointless banter, or anything else to serve as a reminder to people we still exist, and we are still out there. There are too many bands, too much music, and there is too much content already floating around in cyberspace that you could stay awake for the rest of your life and live to be 3,000 years old and still not be able to get a taste of it all. What I do is music, and it’s all I care about doing. I’m actually not that inaccessable if I am needed, and I have no interest in blowing up your personal space with my gibberish (more than is absolutely necessary). If the only way to get things done around here is to be as obnoxious as possible, you can count me out.
Those of you (all two) waiting for more of the tour recap I recently posted on my website, I hate to say it but I just don’t have the effort to type it all out. All the shows were amazing and all the crowds were amazing. All the people I met and stayed with were amazing, and most of the bands and artists I played with were amazing. Some of them were less than amazing, that’s always how it goes, but I don’t care about them because they will never read this. If you decided not to come, that’s your problem, not mine. I don’t feel bad for you, at all. There were more than 5 gigs on the tour where I talked to people that drove 1, 2, or 3+ hours just for my silly ass. I don’t think I’ve ever received that kind of treatment before, and for those individuals this refers to, you guys are the supreme ultimate extreme.
I hope to hit the West coast soon but I can’t bear the thought right now of trying to set it all up myself, in the midst of my current financial situation and everything else going on in my life, so I’m going to continue the quest and hope I talk to enough productive people over the next few months to really get some shit started. In the interim, I suggest you check out one of the 5 bands I’m in as I will likely get to meet you at one of their shows coming up instead of my own.
To the haters: You will forever die miserable and alone.
To the lovers: Get a room.
To my fans: When you’re not trying to tell me what to do, you guys are all right.
In all seriousness, I have some of the best fans in the world. Thank you for your continued support and patronage (where applicable). It means more to me than you know or can possibly comprehend. Despite most of my music being available for free, many of you choose to pay for it, which rocks my world. Every little bit helps whether you are aware of it or not, and keeps me going.
2O12 A.D. is going to be a big year for a lot of us. Here’s to hoping we can reach the top before every molecule in our bodies explodes at the speed of light.
